£10m attacker spotted at airport ahead of medical as Leeds United finalise transfer

Leeds United are expected to be one of the busier clubs in the Premier League ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline. The club have much business to conduct, both in terms of incoming and outgoing transfers, and the recruitment team are working on the clock to finalise deals.

The Whites have secured ten new players since winning the Championship last season and earning promotion to the Premier League. They have forked out in excess of £100m on fresh faces, but the Yorkshire giants are in the market for more players before the window closes on Monday night.

Daniel Farke wants to sign two attackers before the end of the window. Leeds looked bereft of ideas and creativity in their defeat against a second-string Sheffield Wednesday side earlier this week, and adding more attacking nous to the squad is a huge priority in the next few days.

However, Leeds are working on several deals to move on a few players, and significant progress has been made on ensuring that some personnel will be at new clubs by the end of the window.

Largie Ramazani spotted at an airport ahead of finalising his Leeds United exit

Largie Ramazani was left out of the squad against Arsenal and is expected to complete a loan move to Valencia before the end of the window.

Leeds and Valencia reached an agreement over a loan deal on Wednesday, but the Whites have ensured that there are no buy options in the agreement.

Tribuna Deportiva took to X and posted a video of the winger arriving in Valencia earlier today to finalise his move to the Spanish club in the next 24 hours.

The winger will undergo a medical with Valencia today before signing a contract with Valencia to spend the rest of the season at the Mestalla.

Ramazani’s departure is expected to trigger the arrival of a new winger at Leeds this summer, with the club keen to add to their wide options before Monday’s transfer deadline.

Ramazani is happy to be returning to Spain

The Belgian winger knocked back offers earlier in the transfer window as he wanted to stay and fight for his place in the Leeds team.

However, it became clear this season that Farke doesn’t fancy him, and the arrival of Noah Okafor from AC Milan pushed him down the pecking order at Elland Road.

Ramazani has a chance to rekindle his career in Spain, and he is happy to get a chance to work under Carlos Corberan, who was a coach at Leeds and also managed in the Championship.

The winger was quoted as saying by AS: “I’m very happy to be here and to play in La Liga again. I’ve spoken with Corberán.

“I’m physically fit to play now.”
