Leeds United were under pressure to recruit properly in the summer after earning promotion to the Premier League last season. The Whites believe they did well to improve their squad, despite leaving a few gaps due to a few mishaps towards the end of the transfer window.
The Whites didn’t score from open play in their opening four Premier League games, which led to fierce criticism of their recruitment, with many insisting that they didn’t do enough to add more goals and creativity to their squad.
However, the Leeds squad silenced their critics with a commanding performance against Wolves, where Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Noah Okafor scored their first goals for the club in a 3-1 win at Molineux on Saturday.

Okafor arrived at Leeds in the summer for a deal worth £18m from AC Milan. He spent the latter half of last season on loan at Napoli, but played very little.
His injury issues over the last couple of seasons were a concern, and some felt Leeds were making a mistake by bringing in a player with suspect fitness.
However, Okafor’s early performances have been encouraging, and he was brilliant in the 3-1 win over Wolves at Molineux on Saturday.
Leeds believed that they were getting a quality player when they signed him, and the early signs show that they were right.
