Leeds United are accelerating their efforts to bring in more players to bolster their forward line before the end of the window. The club are pushing to add more creativity and goals to their squad before the September 1st transfer deadline this summer.
The Whites got their Premier League campaign off to a rollicking start on Monday night when Lukas Nemcha converted a late penalty to win all three points against Everton at Elland Road. The club are now hoping to keep that momentum going with a few new signings through the door in the coming days.
Leeds have a deal in place to sign AC Milan winger Noah Okafor for a fee worth up to £18m, including add-ons. The 25-year-old will soon travel to England and undergo a medical with the Whites in the next 24 hours.
Chairman Paraag Marathe has indicated that Leeds will be busy towards the end of the transfer window, and the club are expecting to bring in a couple more players following the imminent arrival of Okafor.

Leeds United tipped to make an offer for Manor Solomon soon

Tottenham are prepared to sell Manor Solomon as he is not part of Thomas Frank’s plans, and he has been linked with a return to Leeds this summer.
Mick Brown, a former Premier League scout, admitted that it would make sense if Leeds want him as Farke knows him and he played well on loan at Elland Road last season.
He believes there are better players available in the market, but feels Solomon fits Leeds and the club should make an offer for the Spurs winger soon.
“In terms of Leeds’ interest, he’s obviously a player they know well”, Brown told Football Insider.
“He was excellent for them on loan last season, so it hasn’t come as a surprise to anybody that they’re still looking to bring him back.
“Personally, I think there are better options out there who could improve their squad more.
“Leeds are in a tricky position, though, because they do need to strengthen.
“He’s somebody the manager knows and he knows how he fits in the squad, so there won’t be the same issues as they might find with somebody else.
“If they’re going to move for Solomon, I think they’ll be preparing to make an offer soon.”
A loan will make sense for Leeds
Leeds are advancing on a deal to sign a winger in Okafor, who is set to join the Whites on a four-year deal once he passes a medical.
However, it should not rule out a move for Solomon as the Spurs star can feature on both flanks and can even play as a number 10 in Farke’s system.
Spurs would prefer to sell him, but are also open to a loan, and Solomon’s preference is to return to Leeds before the end of the transfer window.
A loan deal to sign Solomon makes sense as he fits Farke’s system and, more importantly, he would add more attacking quality to their squad this season.
Why would Leeds need Solomon now they are getting Okafor. We will have him, Largie and Harrison to cover that position. We don’t need another. Unless one of them is destined to leave
