Leeds United were huge earners off their transfers during the summer window
The club made over a €100million off selling some of their best players last season. The trio of Archie Gray, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville made up most of the revenue.
Gray had his breakout season last year; the Leeds academy graduate had an outstanding campaign and ended up in the EFL Championship team of the Year. Georginio Rutter, who had a poor start to his Leeds career, turned it around in the championship. The Frenchman got 15 assist for the club last year. Leeds also made a significant profit off Glen Kamara, who left to France.
Crysencio Summerville scored 19 goals in the league and was named EFL Championship Player of the Year.

Former Leeds United star facing issues at new club
Leeds lost three of their best players during the summer and were not expected to be in the promotion race this year. However, Daniel Farke has done a great job with the squad; Leeds United are in third place after 15 games played. The club have the second best attack and the third best defensive record in the Championship.
Some of the key departures from Elland Road have had a tough start to their careers. Archie Gray is yet to play a Premier League game for Spurs this season, leading to speculations that he might be loaned out in January.
Crysencio Summerville has experienced a slow start to the campaign. Despite the forward showing flashes, having scored one goal in just three starts, West Ham have been poor. New manager Julien Lopetegui has had an abysmal start to the season; West Ham have won just two out of their last 10 games.
A report from The Guardian claims Lopetegui has just two games after the international break to save his job. West Ham play Newcastle United and Arsenal in the next few weeks. The club have lined up former Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic, ex-Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand, Stuttgart’s Sebastian Hoeness and former Benfica boss Roger Schmidt as replacements.
A new coach could do wonders for Summerville
The former Leeds star could be playing under a new manager in the next two weeks, which could benefit him. The next manager could unleash Summerville to his full potential, and rediscover his form that saw him score 19 goals last year. In other news, Leeds United are firmly in the race to sign Manchester City star James McAtee.
