£30M star makes huge Leeds United transfer decision – player has already informed club

Leeds United boss Daniel Farke’s message on Friday night was clear – the team needs more firepower. After seeing the club’s performances in pre-season, that is the conclusion the German came to.

And in those games, it was quite obvious the Whites lacked a cutting edge. Leeds will begin the Premier League with Lukas Nmecha, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Joel Piroe as their striking options, which is quite underwhelming. Farke made it clear in the press conference on Friday that more options are needed:

”There is no doubt we need reinforcements, especially in the offence. Dominic can’t be the only step. We are on a good path, prepared for the first games and I hope when the transfer window is over we have a squad who is capable of fighting for being the first team who breaks this curse because we have one clear target to stay in this league.”

There were reports that an attacking midfielder and winger were also on the shortlist.

Leicester City star snubs Leeds United

Over the weekend, Spurs launched a move to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze. There were talks, which accelerated quickly, and as of Monday a deal could be completed soon.

Palace’s target to replace Eze is Leeds United target Bilal El Khannouss. The Whites have been monitoring the situation for the attacker for quite some time. But now, it looks like the decision is out of their hands. Ben Jacobs is reporting that El Khannouss has made his choice.

The 21-year old is keen on a move to Crystal Palace, who are looking to offer £30million to sign him from Leicester City.

Leeds miss out on another major target

Leeds United are now set to miss out on another major target where they had the upper hand. Just like with Igor Paixao, the Whites have waited just too long to make their official approach.

Crystal Palace will now snap up El Khannouss despite Leeds being one of the only clubs to hold talks with in the past few weeks. Poor business by the club.

Poor business by the club? You muppet. The player was holding out to see what would happen. It had nothing to do with the club. Just like all the other fickle fans. If a player does not want to come there is nowt the club can do about it, Simple as. Get a job you wally
