With just a week to go till the transfer deadline, Leeds United are busy trying to finalize their transfer business before the window closes. The Whites made a huge chunk of their signings in pre-season, but still need reinforcements if they are to stay up this season.
The drastic difference in quality in the Premier League proved to be too much when Leeds were battered at the hands of Arsenal over the weekend. The Gunners did not even play that well, but punished Leeds’ errors to score five goals. There are expectations this week that some key arrivals could make it through the door at Elland Road.
So far, a deal has been reached to sign Leicester star James Justin.

Leeds United target’s future could be decided this week
Leeds and Nottingham Forest are still in the race to sign Strasbourg star Dilane Bakwa. The winger has reportedly been valued around £30million, with the Whites yet to make an official approach to sign him. But they have had him on their radar for a while this summer.
Sky Sport’s Thomas Lyall is reporting that Bakwa’s future could be decided this week. Strasbourg play the second leg of their Conference League playoff on Thursday.

There has been interest from Premier League sides, but there is still a chance that the youngster stays in France this summer.
Midfielder could be signed this week
In other news, there has been suggestions that a new midfielder could be signed this week. Ethan Ampadu’s injury has impacted the team very much. And after Saturday, it looks like Ao Tanaka could miss a few games too. The Japanese midfielder will be assessed ahead of Tuesday night.
But Bild in Germany is reporting that a move for Gladbach star Julian Weigl is very possible before the window closes.
