Leeds United have had their issues in front of goal this season; it was very noticeable when the campaign began, but the form of their strikers near the end of last year improved upon that.
Over the last month, Leeds have not gotten the best out of their games and most of that is down to the attack. In their last four games, they have only scored twice. The goalscoring burden this season has been largely carried by Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha.

The duo were signed as free agents in the summer, with fans initially complaining about their signings. Both were injury prone and not prolific strikers. But they have both proven that they have their use in the team.
Leeds United to re-ignite interest in AC Milan star
It looks like the 49ers have different plans for the future when it comes to the center forward position. In January, Leeds United pushed to sign Jorgen Strand Larsen, but the conditions of the deal were not ideal for Wolves. Per Football Insider, the Whites are set to switch their attention to Santiago Gimenez; the AC Milan striker was a serious target in the last few months.
Gimenez has barely been fit since joining the Serie A side, and this could make him see a swift exit when the summer comes around. Sunderland are also said to have shown interest in the 24-year old.

Lukas Nmecha will be furious after his work this season
Leeds United striker Lukas Nmecha will feel hard done by this news. The German striker was expected to be the backup player in the team, but he has slowly shown that he is capable of leading the line when needed. He has surprised everyone with how good he has been in some games, with some suggesting that he replace Dominic Calvert-Lewin who is currently out of form.
