Leeds United suffered a 2-1 defeat at Tottenham today, and it has led to Peter Crouch making a shock relegation prediction, just seven games into the new season.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank tried to put a positive spin on his side’s performance, although they were clinging on for dear life against Leeds in the closing stages.
He insisted that his Spurs side controlled the game, but the story was very different. Leeds dominated the fixture and created enough chances to not only get a draw but score an outright win.
Pundits have already pointed out that it was clear towards the end that Spurs were just waiting for the final whistle, and a bold relegation prediction has already been made about Leeds.
Leeds United will be fine – Peter Crouch

The former Tottenham striker insisted Leeds will be safe this season, adding that he doesn’t expect them to be dragged into a Premier League relegation battle.
Crouch stressed that Leeds have enough quality in their squad to get the results needed, especially at home, to survive in the Premier League.
However, he stressed that the Whites must aim to get points from their upcoming games against Burnley and West Ham, as those results could end up defining their season.
“I think Leeds will be fine, I think of the clubs that came up, I think Leeds have got enough – especially at home. Today they were excellent at times”, Crouch said on TNT Sports.
“You look at the squad, they’ve got the players they have signed – I think Leeds will be alright this year. I don’t see them getting relegated.
“You look at those games coming up against Burnley and West Ham, they have to target points there, that’s what will define their season.
“If they can get results there and take points against those teams that are around or below them in the league, then I think they will be fine.”
Farke has two weeks to chalk out a plan to get a result against Burnley, when Leeds visit Turf Moor after the international break.
