49ers appointing Daniel Farke was a good choice – Liam Rosenior

Liam Rosenior believes 49ers Enterprises’ decision to appoint Daniel Farke was a good choice, with results showing on the pitch.

After a long year of ups and downs with three managers hired and fired, relegation to the Championship and over a £100million spent on new players, Leeds hired Daniel Farke during the summer. The former Norwich City manager was hired, with previous experience of winning the Championship twice with the Canaries.

The Whites have had a decent start to the Championship this season, having only lost one league game so far. Rosenior believes the results on the pitch are because Farke is simply a great coach:

“He is fantastic. I remember covering his time at Norwich, they played really, really good football. Outstanding coach. They have made a really good choice with him. They are organised and they know how they want to play under him.” Rosenior said, speaking to BBC Humberside.

“I went to watch them yesterday [against Millwall]. They are a very good team with a lot of attacking threats on the pitch, which you expect. Leeds are a big club, we are a big club. Geographically there are bragging rights, I played in a few games against Leeds as a player here and they are different.”

Leeds are away to Hull City on Wednesday night in the Championship.
