Leeds United are three points clear of the relegation zone and are pushing to secure safety as soon as possible, which would allow them to advance on their plans for the summer.
The Whites have major plans to strengthen their squad if they survive in the Premier League this season, and the club are already working on certain transfer ideas.
Leeds are almost certain to bring in a new number one goalkeeper and have plans to strengthen their midfield again, with Middlesbrough star Hayden Hackney believed to be their top target.
Daniel Farke also wants to add more options to his attack ahead of next season, and the club are aiming big by eyeing players who have impressed in the Champions League this season.
Leeds United scouts watched two attackers in a big Champions League game
Bodo Glimt have been the surprise package of the Champions League this season, where they have beaten teams such as Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.
They are on the cusp of reaching the quarter-finals after beating Sporting Lisbon 3-0 in the first leg of their last 16 tie at the Aspmyra Stadion on Wednesday night.
According to TEAMTalk, Leeds scouts were present at the stadium to watch Bodo take down Sporting Lisbon in the first leg of the Champions League tie.
It has been claimed that the Whites have their eyes on the Bodo attacking duo of Kasper Hogh and Jens Petter Hauge ahead of next summer.
Hauge has previously been linked with a move to Leeds, but the club now have their eyes on Hogh as well ahead of the end of the season.
Leeds were primarily checking out Hauge, who has scored six goals and registered two assists in 11 Champions League appearances this season.
Danish striker Hogh has also impressed this season, scoring five goals in Bodo’s impressive Champions League campaign.
The club have clear ideas
Leeds are in the market for a striker and a versatile attacker who can play in multiple positions in the forward line ahead of next season.
Hogh fits the striker profile and could be the direct replacement for Joel Piroe and a potential upgrade on Lukas Nmecha in the squad in the summer.

Hauge is the more versatile, who operates out on the left side of the Bodo attack, but is equally adept at playing either centrally as a No 10, or on the right wing.
Farke is aware that he needs more variety in his forward line to turn Leeds into a more threatening side, and the club’s transfer plans seem to be following the same logic.
