According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, 49ers Enterprises are very high on Georginio Rutter and believe Daniel Farke can bring out the best in him this season.
Rutter arrived at Elland Road for a club-record £36million deal in January. Unfortunately his performances in the second half of the season were underwhelming; he only managed 11 league appearances for the club last season.
Daniel Farke reportedly held a meeting with the youngster over his role this season. The Athletic’s Phil Hay revealed that Farke’s analysis of Rutter in his interviews with United’s hierarchy marked Rutter out as a wide attacker rather than a centre forward.
There is hope from both the incoming owners and Daniel Farke that Rutter will show his potential. The Frenchman scored eight goals and provided two assists in his first full season at Hoffenheim in 2021/22.
