Adam Forshaw to start against Fulham as he edges closer to Premier League return

With Leeds United suffering an injury crisis at present, the dwindling number of available first team players is making team selection predictions easier.

As we reported earlier today, Leeds will be without eight first team players for tonight’s game against Fulham in the Carabao Cup. However, it is highly likely that returning midfielder Adam Forshaw will feature.

Forshaw started the game in the previous round of the Carabao Cup against Crewe and put in a solid performance. He hasn’t featured for Leeds United since, but this game will provide him with a great chance to get his fitness up to scratch and get some first team minutes under his belt.

Forshaw will hope that he can be of use to Leeds at some stage this season; with the injuries mounting up as they are, hopefully he can return soon.
