Leeds United have sprung into action this week, as The Athletic announced the deal with Harry Wilson. The midfielder is set to undergo a medical, with a deal already having been agreed.
Many fans around the club expect a busy window. Club chairman Paraag Marathe has already pointed out that the ownership will invest.
This followed weeks of Daniel Farke’s press conferences when he asked the 49ers to match his ambition in the long term. The Leeds boss is out of contract next year, and will hold talks over an extension this summer.
It is very likely that this window sees less activity than last year due to multiple reasons.
But the club’s spending power would be lowered due to the new Squad Cost Ratio (SCR) rules. And this heavily implies that there could be a lot of sales in the coming months.
Adam Pope makes huge Leeds United claim
Leeds United will be actively looking for targets, after agreeing a deal with Harry Wilson.
Julian Brandt seems to be one of the next targets, with the Whites set to convince the attacking midfielder over a move. A new bid for Shea Charles is imminent after Southampton rejected £20 million.
BBC reporter Adam Pope has revealed that a lot players are being offered to Leeds this summer. This could explain the new transfer links every week.
“What I am finding is that suddenly people are offering players left, right and centre.” Pope said on BBC Sport.
“As soon as they hear Leeds are in for a position, they are coming in left, right and centre.
“But Leeds have got their system, and they have got their targets.”

Which positions do Leeds need to reinforce
Leeds United have a lot of work to do on their first team squad as the new season approaches.
The goalkeeping situation is still unclear, with days to go until Karl Darlow’s deal expires. The Welsh international has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but it is believed he could stay at Elland Road.
Getting a keeper in this summer would be the safe bet for the 49ers. Waiting too long may disrupt some plans.
The club also need an extra center back and a left sided defender. Gabriel Gudmundsson was without a natural replacement last season, and it was a position of worry for the club.
Leeds could also do with a center back in case Pascal Struijk decides he wants to leave this summer.
Daniel Farke needs some creativity in midfield, but the pending signing of Harry Wilson could resolve that. Julian Brandt is also said to be a target for this summer window.
Up top, the club would also need a center foward to compete with Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Lets hope that the targets are not all targets wanted by Chamions League teams like Brandt.
