Leeds United are set to turn their attention towards adding to their forward line after bringing in depth and quality for their defence and midfield, and sorting out the goalkeeping position ahead of their return to the Premier League next season.
The Whites have done brilliantly in the transfer market this summer to bolster their squad without blowing up their budget. They have signed seven new players for a little over £75m, with the £17m arrival of Anton Stach being their most expensive transfer at this stage of the transfer window.
Leeds have turned their attention towards bringing in players who will be creating and scoring the goals needed to help the team survive in their first season back in the top flight, and they have a few top targets.
The Yorkshire giants are closing in on a deal to sign Feyenoord winger Igor Paixao, and Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz is their top striker target, while the club are still keeping tabs on several other potential attacking options.
Can you name these 10 former Leeds United strikers?

Leeds United target Timothy Weah’s agent slams Juventus’ transfer tactics

Timothy Weah is one of the forwards Leeds have been tracking, but the Juventus attacker is keen on a move to Marseille and has agreed on personal terms with the French club.
However, Juventus have blocked the transfer in the hope of attracting an offer from a club in the Premier League, which has infuriated the player’s camp.
Weah’s agent, Badou Sambague, has expressed his frustrations and pointed out that one man at Juventus is now holding up the transfer.
He also indicated that the striker will not move to the Premier League despite what Juventus want this summer.
“Juve is a fantastic club”, Sambague told The Athletic.
“The sporting department is managed by three persons. Two have class, and another is still searching himself [sic]. We cannot blame him.
“Two are looking for solutions, and one is creating problems. And we can’t let that go.
“Tim Weah is always professional, but was left out during the [Club] World Cup. This person botched his [Club] World Cup, tried to force him to go where he wanted. Today, as revenge, he’s demanding a fortune and waiting for a Premier League offer that won’t come and will never be approved by us.
“These are old-fashioned methods that won’t sit well with me. I’m not used to speaking out, but not doing so today would be accepting the unacceptable and total disrespect.
“Class can’t be bought for a manager, that’s for sure, but it has always been part of the history of Juventus. One person is undermining that. Let’s see…”
Leeds have other targets, and a move for Weah is unlikely
Leeds have assessed Weah, but it seems he is not one of the names at the top of any shortlist doing the rounds at Elland Road this summer.
The Whites are actively trying to sign Paixao, and are willing to wait for Muniz, who they feel will be available for a more reasonable fee once Fulham sign a striker this summer.
Weah wants to join Marseille, and it seems his representatives are determined to ensure that he gets his wish despite interest from the Premier League.
Leeds have bigger fish to fry, and it seems unlikely that Weah will be at Elland Road next season.
Best he stays abroad. I doubt he could hack it in the Prem
