Jack Harrison is dominating the headlines at Leeds United over the past few days. The winger is reportedly set to leave Elland Road for Italy.
Serie A side Fiorentina are keen on signing the winger, even though nothing has been concluded as of Wednesday. Harrison has been out of favour this season, despite Daniel Farke choosing to bring him back into the squad for this campaign.
Turns out that decision was a mistake, and now the 49ers will be embarassed by the player choosing to leave in the middle of the season.
Andrea Radrizzani speaks on Leeds United star Jack Harrison
Former Leeds chief Andrea Radrizzani has revealed that he had a part to play in this Harrison saga. The Italian said he gave the winger’s agent some advice to move to Italy in the summer, and now the deal is about to materialize.
“Last summer, I already tried to advise his agent about bringing him to Italy, so I’m happy this opportunity has come along, especially in a place like Florence.” Radrizzani said to Italian outlet Firenzeviola.
The 51-year old also had some interesting comments about the winger, describing him as one of the best players he has worked with.
“Jack is, first and foremost, a great guy, a positive person, and a true professional. He’s always disciplined, follows the rules, and is very focused.”
“On top of that, he’s also an excellent player. In Serie A, where the pace is significantly slower than in the Premier League, he’ll be able to prove himself.”
“He’s always been a useful player, capable of playing on both flanks, always available, and almost never injured.”
“This is also a very important aspect: his athleticism and physical condition are solid, and that’s a really positive trait.”

Former chief is wrong about Harrison
Radrizzani in his interview speaks about Jack Harrison like he is one of the best players at Leeds United and that is far from the truth. The winger has not been good since Marcelo Bielsa left the club. The Whites were right to let him leave on loan, and they even got upgrades on him in the likes of Manor Solomon and Dan James.
