Friday night will be a very important clash for both sides when Leeds United face West Ham. Both teams are not in the best of form and will see the upcoming game as a way to break their current streaks.
The Hammers are yet to win a game since Nuno Espirito Santo came on board. Leeds are also reeling after a shock defeat to Burnley over the weekend. Daniel Farke’s side have not won again since beating Wolves last month.
At this point of the season, the game is easily a relegation six-pointer; whoever comes out on top can set themselves up well for the rest of the season.

David Seaman gives his verdict on Leeds United game

Arsenal icon David Seaman has been giving his thoughts on Friday’s upcoming game on talkSport. The former keeper says Leeds have been better than he expected this season, and has backed them to get a result against West Ham.
“It’s not bad, it’s better than I thought it would be.
“I went to the Arsenal-Leeds game, I wore my half and half scarf with pride, so don’t give me any stick! So yeah, it’s a good start, a decent start I’d say,” he said.
“It’s all about staying above the bottom three. Massive game [v West Ham], but one we can win.
“Go and get the points, become a little bit safe, and things become easier. A bit of confidence and momentum.”
Home form needs to count on Friday
Leeds need to hope that returning to Elland Road can produce a good result when they face West Ham. Burnley made the atmosphere at Turf Moor count last time out, and Daniel Farke’s men can do the same. The Whites were able to get huge results over Everton and against Newcastle. And even though they lost their last game at home against Spurs, they could have easily turned the tie if they took their chances.
Friday will be a very difficult game, but if the club are able to replicate their performances against Bournemouth and Newcastle, they can leave the match with all three points.
