Leeds United seem to be focused on adding names to the attack this summer. The club looks to be building a team good enough to compete next season.

95 goals in the Championship is a great achievement, but the quality at the next level is just too overwhelming sometimes. The questions about Joel Piroe and Brenden Aaronson continue to persist. The duo have been criticized a lot this season, and it will continue next year.

Leeds have their eye on some quality attackers this summer as Daniel Farke plans to add some serious firepower to the team.

So far, multiple striker have been linked including Jamie Vardy and Callum Wilson.

Over the last week, the news seems to suggest a switch to finding attacking midfielders. Gus Hamer, and Finn Azaz have been mentioned. Sebastien Vidal is now reporting that Leeds are going forward with a deal for Emi Buendia after having interest in him earlier this year.

The report claims that Unai Emery has already given the green light over a move, and a £16.8million fee has been mentioned.

Daniel Farke is reportedly keen on reuniting with his former player this summer.

Leeds add a quality playmaker

Leeds are getting some quality if they sign Emi Buendia. Throughout the attackers career, he has managed to make an impact everywhere he plays. His time at Leverkusen was not promising, but he can rediscover his form with Leeds United.

The Argentine star can score and create from various roles across the pitch. He has worked with Daniel Farke before, which will give him an edge when he joins the club. Leeds need this type of quality to survive in the Premier League.

Buendia’s last campaign for a newly promoted side saw him grab eight assists that season.
