Bid rejected for Harry Wilson – Leeds United face more Deadline Day heartbreak

Leeds United have failed with an offer to sign Fulham attacking midfielder Harry Wilson on deadline day. It remains to be seen whether they go back with a fresh bid with hours left in the transfer window.

The Whites are scrambling for options in the final hours of the transfer window as the club desperately try to bring in one more attacking player before the summer window closes at 7 PM this evening.

Leeds failed with a loan offer for Aston Villa star Emi Buendia earlier today after the Midlands club decided to keep the Argentinian playmaker beyond the end of the summer transfer window.

It emerged that Leeds are now in the process of trying to sign Fulham attacker Harry Wilson on loan in the final hours of the transfer window, with the club booking a flight ahead of schedule to get things going according to plan.

Can you name the team Leeds United signed these players from in the 2010s?

Fulham rejected the Leeds United offer for Harry Wilson

According to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook, Fulham have knocked back the loan offer from Leeds this summer.

Wilson is not a certain starter in the Fulham team, but Marco Silva is not keen to lose the versatile winger this late in the window with no replacement lined up.

Leeds are keen to sign him, but with just hours left in the transfer window, it is unclear whether they will make a fresh move for him soon following the rejected bid.

The Whites are really scrambling to find players late in the window, and Daniel Farke’s plans to bring in two attackers on deadline day seem like a pipe dream.

Leeds are struggling to sign even one player at this stage of the window, and the rejected bid for Wilson could signal the end of the club’s pursuit for players.

It emerged earlier today that Leeds could end up signing no one on deadline day, and with little over three hours left in the window, it is becoming a real possibility.

Aadam Patel reports: “Reports elsewhere that Leeds have had a loan offer turned down by Aston Villa for Emiliano Buendia. But Leeds are insisting that a bid has not been made at all for the Argentine.”

Make of that what you will. I for one won’t believe anything you guys write as it is all click-bait and speculation and nobody seems to know what they are talking about.
