Leeds United are accelerating their efforts to add more fresh faces to their squad before the end of the transfer window. Daniel Farke aims to enhance the quality of his team, and work is underway behind the scenes to secure a couple more deals in the coming days.
The Whites confirmed their tenth new signing of the summer transfer window on Monday when they announced the arrival of James Justin from Leicester City for a deal worth £8m and another £2m in add-ons. The versatile defender can operate in both full-back positions and also as a centre-back.
However, Leeds are not done in the market, and are continuing to look for opportunities to add a couple more signings before the transfer window closes on September 1st.
The Leeds manager is keen to add two more attackers to his squad before the end of the window, as he is keen to have more cover in attack for the rest of the Premier League season.

Leeds United are still in the mix as Nottingham Forest fail with a bid for Dilane Bakwa

Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa is expected to leave the French club and move to the Premier League before the end of the summer transfer window next Monday night.
However, the race to sign him is as open as it could be. Leeds have been monitoring the left-footed winger, but Nottingham Forest are leading the race to sign him.
They are in concrete talks with Strasbourg for Bakwa, but according to Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri, they have had a bid rejected for the winger.
Forest tabled a deal worth £30m, including add-ons, and were expecting Strasbourg to accept the offer as it was in line with their asking price.
However, the French club knocked back the offer, and the talks are still ongoing between the two clubs.
Leeds remain in the race for Bakwa, but are yet to make a concrete move to take him to Elland Road. The club are still assessing their options ahead of deciding on a bid for the winger.
Forest are still pushing to sign him, and are expected to table a fresh offer for him soon.
Farke wants more attackers
Leeds are likely to add at least one more forward, if not two, before the transfer window closes on Monday night.
Bilal El Khannouss has been a long-term target, and his future remains undecided despite Crystal Palace being the favourites to sign him.
Apart from Bakwa, Leeds also have their eyes on Juventus’ Nico Gonzalez, who is also expected to leave Turin before the end of the summer transfer window.
Farke wants to bring in a more versatile forward who can operate in multiple roles in the final third, giving him more tactical flexibility.
If it’s between us and Forest for Bakwa, they will win hands down. We move like a skint snail in the market and they move like a serious club, hence the fact they signed all our targets on one day after we pussy footed around for a month.
Agree with Ropey..I remember paraag boasting that in America that’s what he’s known for wich is getting deals done yet Sunderland and other teams just come along and picked players off we was in contact with..and them clubs get things done in a matter of days yet for us to get a deal done it would take 2 weeks to a month
