It’s fair to say Leeds are in the midst of somewhat of an injury crisis. Marcelo Bielsa was without 8 of his first team squad for Tuesday night’s victory over Fulham in the Carabao Cup.
But things haven’t improved according to the Leeds boss. Speaking in his Pre-match press conference, Bielsa admitted that Patrick Bamford, Robin Koch and Diego Llorente were all ruled out of the game, with Pascal Struijk missing the final game of his 3 match suspension.
Bielsa wouldn’t confirm whether or not Raphinha, Luke Ayling or Jack Harrison would feature, with the latter having received a positive Covid-19 test last week. It isn’t looking good for Leeds ahead of this fixture as they’ll be forced to hope that some under 23 players are ready to make the step up.
