Bielsa to return to England this summer – Reports

According to The Sun, Marcelo Bielsa is on the lookout for a return to the England this summer.

It has been over a year since the 67-year old was sacked from Elland Road after a run of results saw the club near relegation. His successor Jesse Marsch was appointed late in the season and managed to guide The Whites to safety.

When Marsch was sacked, there were rumours that Bielsa would return to the club but nothing materialized. Everton approached Bielsa after they sacked Frank Lampard earlier this season. However, the Argentine rejected the offer, stating he preferred to spend the rest of the season with the clubs U21s and academy, before taking over the first team in the summer.

Now according to sources, Bielsa has asked his contacts to find him a home in England, and it is looking likely that a job appointment will follow.

The former Espanyol, Athletic Bilbao, Marseille and Lille coach could return to coaching in 2023.
