After beating Everton on the opening day, Leeds United are focused on how to get a result against the Gunners on Saturday. Daniel Farke has already said his team will not change their style at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta has also revealed that he has been watching Leeds, and is impressed with their football. We are now set for a big clash this weekend, even though the Whites are clearly the underdogs. In the meantime, the club continue to search for new signings – Farke said a fullback could arrive over the weekend:

”We’re quite open and honest about this. I don’t speak about names and any rumours but we have spoken about the full-back position. We might need an addition.”

Leeds will be hoping to end their transfer window on a high after capturing Noah Okafor from AC Milan this week.

Jayden Bogle is one of the most important players in this Leeds team. So when he picked up a knock in pre-season, Daniel Farke pushed for the club to sign cover at the position.

This week, it has been reported that the Whites are on the trail of Bournemouth defender James Hill. He is versatile and can play right back and center back. Leeds are hoping to get him on a cut-price deal as his contract expires next year.

On Friday, Cherries boss Andoni Raiola addressed the Hill situation, and said he cannot guarantee the player will leave before the deadline closes.

Bournemouth could risk losing him for free, and should cash in on him this month.

Full focus seems to be on James Hill now

After James Justin reportedly picked up a serious injury, links to the Leicester man have died down. And it looks like James Hill is a priorty target. He ticks all the boxes for Leeds in this window; can contribute immediately, and available at a decent fee.

Hopefully the Whites can wrap up this deal before the transfer window closes.
