Strasbourg midfielder Habib Diarra is on the table, but the French club are negotiating a higher fee. Reims’ Valentine Atangana is also an option, and could be much cheaper than the Senegalese international.
The deal for Udinese’s Jaka Bijol is being finalized and the Whites will announce the transfer anytime this week. His arrival could be followed by a move for another central defender. According to Spanish outlet ABC, Leeds ”have asked” about the conditions for Natan. The Brazilian joined Betis on a permanent deal this season, after initially arriving on loan.
Natan made his first ever Brazil squad this year.
Deal could mean Pascal Struijk’s exit
Jaka Bijol and Natan could mean two new central defenders through the door at Elland Road. Even though the duo could be considered as depth, they possess the quality to bench the current starters. If the club’s defensive options are in excess, one or two could be sold. Max Wober is not in the club’s plans for next season.

Natan’s arrival could raise questions about Pascal Struijk’s future. The club captain has previously been discussed as one of the players Leeds could sell for ‘pure’ PSR profit. But for now, nothing has been agreed between the two clubs.
