Watching England games is always a source of pride for Leeds United fans as they get to see one of their own take to the international stage.
However, there has been some sour news coming out of the England camp as Kalvin Phillips has pulled out through injury. It is believed to have been described as a ‘minor calf strain’.
Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse has been called up to replace the Leeds United hero. This means Phillips will remain on 17 England caps for the foreseeable future.
Leeds are hopeful that Phillips will recover in time for the game against Southampton after the international break.
