Brighton manager warns Leeds United to expect the unexpected

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has told Leeds United to be wary of lineup changes in their Premier League game this weekend.

The Italian manager dropped the clubs number one goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, for Jason Steele in their 4-0 win over West Ham. The moved raised a few eye brows, but concerns were put to bed after the result. The 43-year old has now said that the change was to help Brighton improve:

“I love the competition in my dressing room and amongst the players,”

“It is the right competition because that can help you to improve. I haven’t a fixed plan in my head.”

De Zerbi has made a lot of big calls in his short time at Brighton, most recently freezing out Leandro Trossard before eventually selling him to Arsenal in January. Leeds welcome The Seagulls to Elland Road this Saturday.
