Bristol City host Leeds United tomorrow at Aston Gate after The Robins’ away day draw against Stoke City. Even with head coach Liam Manning’s absence, assistant gaffer Chris Hogg displayed a sense of confidence before facing The Whites.
Cider Army’s main man Liam Manning’s absence is cited to his newborn son’s untimely demise. Due to the sensitive nature of the issue, there has been no further inquiry into the matter.
Without Manning’s oversight, Bristol City has still managed to keep a consistent record in The Championship. Under Hogg’s guidance, the South Western outfit has continued to play per Manning’s philosophy.
Continuing the strategy, Bristol caretaker Hogg showed confidence in facing Leeds United at the press conference. The former England U19 international said that the club will continue its aggressive style of play against The 49ers.

Chris Hogg talked about the competitive nature of the English second division and said that The Robins’ principles won’t change regardless of the opposition.
“I think the Championship is a tough league. If you look at even our last week or in the last month we have had to play different ways at times. But the principles never changed”, Hogg told the media.
“Opposition like Leeds are a strong team and they will have moments in the game, there is no doubt. On the flip side, we want to be hard to beat. So, regardless of the opposition, the principles donāt change”, Chris continued at the press conference.
“So for us, we want to try and have the ball, we want to try and be expressive and play forward and have an attacking team. But then it is about us trying to wrestle back a little bit of control and give our players a chance to go and put their mark on the game.”
“That will always be the mindset while Liam is at the club, while I am at the club. Listen we have got strengths as well we have just got to try and manage a way of putting our players in positions and giving them the belief to go and play.”
“But there will be moments where we will have to soak up the pressure no doubt but we want to try and give them something to defend.”
