Leeds United once again put on a show at Elland Road on Monday night. After beating Stoke City a week ago, they followed it up with another huge victory in front of the fans.
The players will be pleased that this time, they could celebrate promotion with the fans. Last week, their fate was confirmed after their game at Elland Road, but on Monday night, the celebrations were massive.
Bristol City came into the game needing a win to keep their play-off hopes alive, but Daniel Farke’s men were just too strong for them. Manor Solomon was involved once again as he set up Ao Tanaka for the opening goal. Things ramped up in the second half, when Leeds scored three goals – with Largie Ramazani coming off the bench to bag a brace.
After the game, the players and technical team celebrated promotion in style.

Leeds once again handed out a thrashing to a team visiting Elland Road. Farke’s men have now netted 12 goals in their last three home games. Bristol City boss Liam Manning said one huge reason his team never got going on Monday night was the atmosphere at Elland Road:
“The manner of the goals and also, when you look at it, I thought we played the occasion too much.
“The atmosphere is electric and naturally, they came out fired up and ready to go. You then have to work harder to be a little bit more proactive with your thinking and take a little bit more care with the ball and we kind of compounded mistake with mistake.
The Robins need to win on the final day to stand a chance of making the play-offs.
Elland Road will play a big part in the Premier League
Leeds’ home form is one of the biggest reasons they got promoted this season. Daniel Farke’s men are unbeaten in 2025, and have all of their last three games.

The club have won 59.7% of their total points this season at Elland Road. This is a very good sign heading into the Premier League next season. If the fans can make visiting teams feel the atmosphere, the Whites could pull off a miracle and survive. However, Paul Merson does not believe Leeds can stay up next season.
