‘Until we die’ – Cardiff City boss makes bold remarks as job likely on line against Leeds

A report this week indicates that Cardiff City manager Erol Bulut is on the verge of being sacked ahead of the clash with Leeds United. The situation has been compounded by senior players in his squad questioning his training methods.

The 49-year-old likely knows his job is on the line if they don’t secure a win over Leeds and begin climbing up the Championship table. Moreover, the Whites are coming into this contest with injury issues.

On Thursday, the BBC’s Adam Pope reported that Solomon is a major question mark for Leeds in this massive road match as the squad attempts to get back into the top six with a victory.

“Leeds United winger Manor Solomon is the major injury doubt with a back problem ahead of Saturday’s Championship fixture at Cardiff City,” Pope wrote on X Thursday. “Patrick Bamford expected to be involved.”

Erol Bulut makes a rallying cry for Cardiff City

Understanding that if he loses, this could be it for him, Bulut is attempting to rally the supporters. Ahead of the matchup, the Cardiff City boss spoke to the club’s official website, hoping to count on support from the fans to secure a victory.

“If you are with Cardiff City, be with us until the end,” Erol said. “Until we die we have to be together, not only when we are winning. When we are together we have to be together, and not just for show. Cardiff City fans support us; they travel with us and give everything for the Club. We showed in pre-season games that we can do it, but we haven’t had the luck.

“The players are frustrated like me, they are trying hard. This week, we spoke and had meetings. Our training sessions have been good and everybody knows the situation and the pressure. I feel it and the players do too, this is normal as life in football is like that. Saturday we will be on the field, and we will try everything to change it. The only place where we can speak is on the field.”

He’ll have the home crowd behind him. However, if Leeds take the early lead and make the most of their chances, the support could turn into boos.
