Celtic identify ‘potential replacement’ for Leeds United-linked 18-goal winger – This is how much Leeds will have to pay

Leeds United have their focus on seeking promotion to the Premier League in the coming weeks. However, Daniel Farke has already claimed that his team will be in the top-flight next season, and the recruitment team at Elland Road are also working under that assumption.

Daniel Farke and the Leeds United players are working on their last-minute preparation ahead of facing Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.

Promotion to the Premier League is the goal, and the Leeds recruitment team have been identifying potential targets with a view to playing top-flight football next season.

Leeds are aware that they would need more goals and creativity in their squad if they are to survive in the top flight, and the club have been looking at a brilliant player north of the border at Celtic.

And it seems even the Scottish champions are preparing for his potential departure in the summer.

Celtic eyeing up a replacement for the Leeds United target

Kuhn has been one of the driving forces of the Celtic team this season, scoring 18 times and registering 14 assists in all competitions for the Scottish champions.

However, his performances have attracted interest from south of the border, and Brentford and Leeds are amongst the clubs interested in signing him.

Leeds’ interest is dependent on the club getting promoted, but they definitely have their eyes on him, and Celtic are expected to sell if their financial demands are met.

According to TEAMTalk, the Scottish champions are already working on seeking a replacement for the German, should he leave in the summer.

Royal Antwerp forward Michel-Ange Balikwisha has emerged as an option for Celtic if they decide to cash in on Kuhn in the summer transfer window.

He will be more than affordable for Leeds if they get promoted

Leeds’ big transfer plans are all predicated on the fact that they need to get promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Promotion will not only bring in more funds to spend, but Leeds, coupled with Red Bull’s contacts, will become an attractive proposition for players.

Can you name the season these 10 Leeds United shirts are from?

Brentford and a few other Premier League clubs have their eyes on Kuhn, but Leeds can compete for his signature if they are in the top flight next season.

Celtic are known for being a selling club, and if a club agree to fork out somewhere around £26m, the Bhoys will agree to sell him in the summer.

Leeds can more than afford to pay such a figure for an attacking player if they can offer Premier League football at Elland Road.
