It is early in the season, but Leeds United will definitely have their eyes on the upcoming transfer window. Daniel Farke’s side have hit a run of good form since their loss to Fulham.
Leeds have gone on to beat Wolves, and held Bournemouth to a draw over the weekend. Before this Saturday, Andoni Iraola’s side had only conceded one goal in three games but the Whites managed to score two goals against them.
Daniel Farke’s side now sit in midtable with eight points from six games so far. Fans will be hoping they can get to the midpoint of the season in good shape, before their transfer window.

Inter Milan midfielder speaks after recent start

Inter Milan’s Piotr Zielinski has been linked with a move to Leeds recently. The midfielder has been out of favour at his club for most of this season. It is believed a move to Elland Road could be a serious possibility in January. Zielinski made his first ever start this season on Tuesday night, and his words suggested that he is focused solely on Inter:
“We’re happy to have put in a good performance with the right attitude.
“I can contribute with more goals and assists: they’ll definitely come this year, I need to be more aggressive in defence, but I did well today.
“It was a bit because I’ve not started for a while, really happy for myself and the team, it was important for me to do well and contribute,”
Leeds United could be handicapped in January window
January is quite far down the line, but some figures at the club have hinted at how the window could go. Managing director Robbie Evans said to the local media that the club is ‘hoping to avoid January‘:
“our goal is to avoid January, if possible. So there’s a reason we didn’t do a big thing in January last year or the year before.
“The goal is to be done early.”
Leeds have maxed out PSR, and it will be difficult to make any new signings without offloading players first. But if there is a desperate need for new additions, the ownership might consider.
