Leeds United might find themselves in a battle with big sides in Europe this summer. Some of the clubs targets will inevitably attract interest from bigger teams in other leagues.
With just a few weeks till the start of the transfer window, Leeds have been linked with a whole host of names. For now, most of the targets seem to be players with Premier League experience. The likes of Callum Wilson and Jamie Vardy have been linked with a move to Elland Road.
This seems like a shift from just last season, when the Whites signed players from outside England. Ao Tanaka and Largie Ramazani, two of the main signings this season, came from Spain and Germany.

Leeds have been pursuing Motherwell star Lennon Miller. The 18-year old midfielder is highly rated, and considered one of the best prospects in Scotland.
To Leeds fans, it may look like an unusual signing, but it is not new. Under Victor Orta, the club signed young players with high potential to develop for the first team. There is also a high chance that Miller gets a chance to play in the first team next season, after all, Archie Gray was a starter last season.
Graeme Bailey has now reported that Chelsea’s owners BlueCo are looking to beat Leeds to the signing of Miller. The plan is to sign him to Strasbourg where he would have time to play and develop.
Leeds cannot compete with BlueCo
Chelsea’s owners can buy Lennon Miller, send him to Strasbourg and give him all the time and patience to develop. Leeds do not have that kind of privilege. If the Whites sign Miller, they have to play him in the first team to justify the fee spent. Motherwell will reportedly demand a sizeable fee for the teenager, which is warranted because of his quality.
The midfielder already has five goals and 11 assists in his young career.
