Leeds United could end this summer with more than eight signings, but the business done on the other end has been very poor. The Whites have only seen one permanent exit in this window.
Diogo Monteiro left to Portugal on a permanent deal; with Leeds guaranteed a huge sell-on clause according to reports. Outside the U21 defender, the rest of the departures have been on temporary deals. Max Wober, Joe Gelhardt and Mateo Joseph have all left on loan deals. Charlie Crewe was also loaned out to Doncaster Rovers.
With weeks to go until the window closes, there are still a lot of unwanted players in the team. Patrick Bamford, Illan Meslier, Darko Gyabi and Sam Greenwood are still under contract with the club.

The German club are once again in the news concerning Leeds United transfers. These past couple of weeks have been worrying for Werder Bremen. The club agreed a loan deal with Isaac Schmidt, but the player has yet to make the move. Schmidt featured in two pre-season games amidst reports that Daniel Farke wanted a replacement before he gave a green light for the deal.
Werder Bremen head of first team football Peter Niemeyer has confirmed his side’s interest in the defender.
“It is well known that we are interested in Isaac and that he can very well imagine a move to us,” he said.
Now, BILD are reporting that Bremen could pull out of a deal if they cannot complete the deal for Schmidt soon. The Bundesliga side are growing frustrated with the proceedings, and Leeds are yet to respond. Werder Bremen expect a final decision from the Whites soon, before they take any measures concerning the transfer.
