Leeds United have done brilliantly in the ongoing transfer window to bring in seven new players for a shade over £75m. The club have plans to bring in more players, and their spending could increase by a few manifolds as the Whites focus on more expensive targets.
Farke and the recruitment team were aware that they had a challenge at hand once promotion was guaranteed last season. The three promoted teams went down in the previous campaign, and Leeds needed to build a squad that would be good enough to survive without blowing their budget.
The £17m arrival of Anton Stach has been the most expensive transfer this summer, but Leeds already look much better and well-equipped to handle the pressure of surviving in the Premier League next season.
The club will spend more money and are expected to break their transfer record in a bid to sign a striker who can score the goals to keep them in the top flight next season.

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke reserves special praise for the recruitment team

Sporting director Adam Underwood took charge of the club recently, but is having a blinder this summer. He has been credited with the way the club have targeted players and negotiated the deals.
Farke insisted that he deserves a lot of praise, along with the rest of the recruitment team and the club hierarchy, for the work they have carried out.
He pointed out that some of the most important players in the recruitment team are in their respective roles for the first time in their careers, and it has made their effort even more special.
“He deserves lots of praise”, Farke was quoted as saying by the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“And so does all our first row and key people in this department, because it’s also new in this constellation, and also new for each and every one of them.
