Leeds United will be hoping to build upon their big win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend. Daniel Farke’s side now have seven points from five games and will hope to add more.
The Whites will be hosting Bournemouth at Elland Road, a venue where they have already gotten big results against teams like Everton and Newcastle United. Saturday’s game could not have come at a better time as the team is now firing in front of goal. This is what Daniel Farke had to say ahead of the clash with the Cherries:
”Take game by game. Two home games against two sides who will be really strong.
”Focused on Bournemouth. Finished ninth last season, a really good season. Top start in terms of results and performances.
”Deserve to be in the top four and have the same points as Arsenal. Not the end of the seasons but no coincidence where they are.
”Really good side with lots of intensity. Andoni deserves a lot of praise. Difficult to beat, play with intensity and belief.
”Have to be at our best to have a chance to win points.”

Ahead of the Bournemouth game, one major decision has been made by Daniel Farke. He has revealed that Karl Darlow will continue in goal as Lucas Perri is not ready. The Brazilian keeper has been out with injury in the past two games with Farke saying that he could return after the international break:
”Lucas hasn’t been in team training yet. Karl has the chance to play again.
”Excellent in recent games, especially the last away game. Lucas, we hope can join us next week.
”Safe to say he’s not in contention before the international break. Good progress in rehab but not in team training.”
Darlow will have to put on another spectacular performance in goal in order to keep out Bournemouth at Elland Road this Saturday.
Bournemouth clash will be a very difficult game
Andoni Iraola’s side will be the toughest test Leeds have faced after the Arsenal game. Bournemouth have not lost a game since the start of the season, and have conceded just one goal in their last four league games. In that span, the Cherries have beaten Spurs and Brighton.
Leeds can count on their home form to make a difference, but they will need all the help they can get against this Bournemouth side.
