Leeds United will have a tough task when they face Bournemouth this weekend. Andoni Iraola’s side will definitely be a different challenge to what the Whites faced last weekend.
Leeds went away to the Molineux and beat Wolves 3-1; it was the first time this season that Farke’s side had scored from open play. This weekend, they return to Elland Road where they will host a formidable Bournemouth side. The Cherries have not lost a league game since their season opener against Liverpool. Andoni Iraola’s side have also conceded just one goal in their last three games.
Ahead of the game, the Whites were missing goalkeeper Lucas Perri, as he has not recovered from his injury.

Leeds United XI vs Bournemouth
Daniel Farke already gave a hint to his approach for the Bournemouth game on Saturday. He says it is important for Leeds to keep their style, but they will ‘mix it up’ sometimes.
”Always important not to lose your DNA. In the first-half at Wolves we started well, conceded the goal but it is important to keep going and believe in your approach. I said at half-time we didn’t need to get nervous just because we’re in the lead.
”Take it as normal, don’t be scared and think we have to defend.
”You want to keep going and dominate, try to win the second-half, but sometimes you have to accept because of the quality of the opponent, you have to concentrate a bit more on defending.
”Too often we chose to go for a quick counter-attack but if you don’t score, the opponent has the ball pretty quick again.
”Sometimes better to go for possession, let the opponent suffer a bit more, something I criticised a bit at Wolves.”
