Despite another win over Watford last night (October 22nd), Leeds United boss Daniel Farke wasn’t all smiles during the game against Tom Cleverley’s men.
There was an awful lot to smile about at the start of the game with Largie Ramazani giving the West Yorkshire side the lead in just four minutes and then Leeds United doubled their lead when Brenden Aaronson scored just three minutes later.
However, that was as good as it got for Leeds as they struggled to maintain that momentum. Granted they suffered a huge blow when Ramazani was forced to limp off with an ankle injury and from there Leeds were unable to keep on top of Watford.
In fact, Watford scored at the start of the second half to half Leeds’ lead and then it was a case of Leeds United holding on. Fortunately they did making it back to back wins to return from the international break and making it seven points from nine despite the changes in the midfield that Farke has been forced into with Ao Tanaka and Joe Rothwell both impressing.
But despite the win, Farke was not happy during the game and seemingly raged at one player in particular.

Though Leeds did a good job of keeping Watford at bay, with their manager former Manchester United man Tom Cleverley claiming they dominated the game for 55 minutes, from a Leeds perspective the game felt as though it was drifting with Farke releasing his frustrations at his players.
This came after Leeds’ spell of destroying Watford with their three attacking midfielders came to an end after Ramazani’s injury which saw Leeds become more passive.
As Watford made their way down the Leeds right flank, Farke seemed to furious with Willy Gnonto not doing enough to stop the progress Watford were making and this first half moment saw the Leeds manager boss rage at the attacker from the sideline as per Leeds Live seemingly furious that the Italian had failed to track his runner.
In the end, Leeds held on but with Ramazani set to miss the game on Saturday against Bristol City, Gnonto will have to step up.
