Daniel Farke rules out exit for Leeds United duo ahead of transfer deadline

Leeds United have already made on signing this week, and could welcome a few more additions before the window shuts. Three exits are set to be confirmed this week if all goes according to plan.

James Justin joined on Monday after wrapping up a medical, he signed on a £10million deal from Leicester City. Leeds have been busy processing departures this week. The club have officially announced the exit of Sam Greenwood, who has joined Polish side Pogon for a healthy transfer fee.

Two other players are set to leave this week, in Largie Ramazani and Isaac Schmidt. Both players were signed last season, and for some reason, they barely got playing time under Daniel Farke. Now, they get the chance to impress after sealing season long laon deals.

QUIZ: Can you name the team Leeds United signed these players from in the 2000s?

When asked about transfers this week during Thursday’s press conference, Daniel Farke said there could be one of two additions in attack. The German has been asking for reinforcements over the past few weeks, even after the club added Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Farke made a surprise admission when asked about the future of two first team players. According to the Leeds boss, it will be hard to let go of Jack Harrison and Brenden Aaronson before the window closes.

”We want competition right now, and let’s see what really will happen in this window. I think it’s too early to speak about and judge what happens.”

”As it stands, they are pretty much in my plans, I would not have started them in the cup game and brought them on against Everton. Played an important part in winning the game. For that, they are pretty close, important for our group, you need competition. I don’t expect more outgoings. If something crazy comes you can’t rule anything out but as it stands, we don’t plan this.”

Leeds face Newcastle on Saturday, and will have the chance to bring in some new players before the transfer deadline on Monday.
