Daniel Farke wants more of the same from Summerville after Huddersfield performance

Leeds United coach Daniel Farke was full of praise for Crysencio Summerville after his brilliant performance against Huddersfield.

The 21-year old was heavily involved in all four goals in the game for Leeds – he assisted Daniel James to open the scoring and later scored a brace to end the first half.

Farke was full of praise for the youngster, and highlighted the fact that his performances have paid off on the pitch:

“In terms of end product he has improved a lot since the start. Many games play on a top level, but for a young player to develop in the right direction they need goals and assists. Gets more and more comfortable in this sense. We work on this at TA. He has to finish lots and lots in training. Really good week for end products, but come on, keep going.”

Even though Farke was pleased with the Dutch youngster, he was still concerned about his fitness – Summerville was subbed at the 60th minute. This comes after the German coach revealed the forward was struggling with a nagging injury.

Farke says it will be very important to have a fit Summerville for the upcoming schedule:

“I hope we can play them three games over 90 minutes, but not in this moment because we have to think about seasons where they rarely played, injuries in pre-season and the start of the season. James had lots of load with Wales. Cree is sadly struggling with this slight injury problem. Not possible, but I hope in a few weeks when they find their rhythm they can play more. Have to be careful and thank God they were able to deliver such a great performance.”
