According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds boss Daniel Farke has a spot for Daniel James in his pre-season squad.
The Welsh forward returns from Fulham where he spent last season on loan in the Premier League. James started last season as a Leeds player, featuring in the first few games of the season. But he joined Marco Silva’s side on loan where he managed two goal and an assist in 20 appearances in the league.
The Welshman signed from Manchester United for £25million in 2021 and was a regular in his first season under Marcelo Bielsa and Jesse Marsch. The report from YEP says Farke will make a decision on Dan James and Max Wober depending on their fitness and conditioning this week.
Farke is hoping that James will feature in their pre-season game on Wednesday.
