Leeds United have been efficient with their transfer business so far. The club have planned their transfer window properly.

Fans may complain about the business so far, but looking at the window so far, the club have done a very good job. Which other Premier League club can boast of signing four players from Wolfsburg, Udinese and Lille for just over £30million.

Leeds added quality and depth with each of these moves, Daniel Farke has some reinforcements ahead of next season.

Each of the signings addressed a serious need in the team. Jaka Bijol comes in and will challenge for a starting place among one of the best defensive units from the Championship last season. The club have also replaced Junior Firpo with Gabriel Gudmundsson. Lukas Nmecha and Sebastiaan Bornauw will also serve as important backups that the club can rely on off the bench.

According to David Ornstein, Leeds United have finally agreed to a deal with Newcastle over Sean Longstaff.

The Whites had their third bid for the midfielder rejected earlier this week. Longstaff has been on the club’s radar for a while and Daniel Farke feels like his quality will be needed in the Premier League. It looks like Leeds have finally made an offer closer to the Magpies valuation, which will be in excess of £12 million.

Longstaff has already agreed to personal terms, and barring any changes, the deal will completed anytime from now.

An attacker needs to be the club’s next signing

After finally addressing the midfield, Leeds need to add another attacker. Since losing Solomon, the club have an empty spot from last season. The club can do with another wide attacker who can replicate Solomon’s output from last year. The former Spurs man had over 20 goal involvements during the previous campaign.

Leeds are already monitoring the market to see if they can get another center forward.

Longstaff provides unique skillset

The main thing Sean Longstaff brings is the ability to play in the Premier League; he immediately becomes one of the most experienced players in the squad. Outside that, his skillset is quite unique – he is effective at both ends of the pitch.

He wins he duels and can cover ground defensively, and get into the box to score important goals. Leeds will need this type of profile heading into next season, and at that price tag, it is a very good signing.
