Millwall’s Japhet Tanganga has been a serious target for Leeds over the past few weeks. The player’s bargain release clause is what has attracted so many clubs. Crystal Palace and Sunderland are reportedly in the race to sign the former Tottenham man. His versatitily makes him a very good prospect for Premier League clubs.

Now, it has been reported that Tanganga is set to give the green light to a club over his move. Express Sport say the defender has made his decision, and will alert the club in the coming days. Which means, a move could be announced soon. Hopefully he arrives at Elland Road this summer.

Tanganga signing could prove to be a big move

Leeds are yet to kick a ball in the Premier League, and they are already beating out big clubs to transfer signings. This shows how ambitious that club can be. And also how an attractive prospect Leeds has become over the year.

Back in 2020, the club signed Raphinha – a player considered to be among the best in the world in 2025. If the Whites are able to repeat their transfer window from five years ago, then there is a high chance they cruise to Premier League survival. Daniel Farke and the recruitment team have to get the signings right.
