Leeds United right-back Cody Drameh has joined Championship side Luton on loan for the remainder of the season, the club have announced.
Drameh’s move appeared in motion from yesterday evening, when Sky Sports News announced that Leeds had agreed a deal with the Hatters.
Personal terms were then swiftly agreed as it was reported the 21-year-old was undergoing a medical this morning, as reported by The Athletic.
It will be Drameh’s second loan spell in English football’s second-tier after he spent the latter half of last season on loan at Cardiff City.
His time in Wales was immensely successful, seeing the young-right back given the Bluebirds’ player of the season – as well as the young player of the season – accolades.
Drameh has made three appearances for Leeds’ first team this season in all competitions.
The club added in a statement:
“We would like to wish Cody the best of luck during his time away from the club and he could make his debut next Tuesday, as his new side come up against his former side Cardiff in a Championship clash at Kenilworth Road.”
Luton currently sit seventh in the Championship and are aiming to finish their campaign in one of the league’s play-off positions.
