Leeds United boss spent the last few weeks asking the club to add reinforcements in attack. The German made this call after seeing how the team performed in pre-season.
Especially up top, with so many changes having been made in that department. This season, Leeds will be without Patrick Bamford and Mateo Joseph. Bamford was told he was not part of transfer plans, while Joseph has been loaned to Spain for the rest of the campaign. Leeds lost two players who provided back up to Joel Piroe last season.
Lukas Nmecha was signed at the start of the summer, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin joining this past week. But according to Farke’s words on Friday, another option could arrive.

It was revealed on Tuesday that Fulham rejected Atalanta’s last offer for Rodrigo Muniz. The Italian club thought they had sealed a deal despite reports of an agreement earlier that day.
As it stands, Rodrigo Muniz is set to stay at Fulham despite a £35m Atalanta bid. Exit won’t be sanctioned without a replacement.

Atalanta have now moved on to try and sign Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic according to Fabrizio Romano.
Door open for Leeds United move
With Muniz set to stay in England now, Leeds still have a slim chance of completing a transfer deal. However, the club would need to match a fee in excess of £35million; this is what Fulham demanded from the Italian club.
Daniel Farke dropped a big hint that a few more attackers could sign soon, with Leeds expecting a busy end to the transfer window:
”There is no doubt we need reinforcements, especially in the offence. Dominic can’t be the only step. We are on a good path, prepared for the first games and I hope when the transfer window is over we have a squad who is capable of fighting for being the first team who breaks this curse because we have one clear target to stay in this league.”
