Leeds United fans will be very grateful for last season, Daniel Farke saw the Whites win promotion back to the Premier League. The club were able to achieve this feat despite losing some of their best players.
Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter all left for big fees to Premier League clubs. And Daniel Farke barely got any replacements for such quality. Leeds ended the season with a 100 points and 95 goals, pipping Burnley to the Championship on the final day of the season.
So far in the Premier League, Farke’s side have performed above expectations. After seven games this season, Leeds sit in 15th place with eight points so far.

Update on racist incident at Leeds United in February

A moment that the club will not be pleased to revisit is what happened in February this year. In a Championship game against Sunderland, Ethan Ampadu and Largie Ramazani were subject to racist abuse from the away stand. West Yorkshire Police have made an arrest, and the individual was set to appear in court.
It has now been confirmed that Sunderland supporter Steven Patterson, a 67-year old man, has admitted to ‘racially-aggravated harassment’. Patterson made this statement on Friday afternoon at Leeds Magistrates’ Court. The Sunderland fan was caught on CCTV making ‘monkey’ gestures towards Largie Ramazani when Ethan Ampadu noticed and stepped in. The 67-year old was then arrested weeks later.
Amrit Jandoo who was mitigating for Patterson, said this on behalf of the Sunderland supporter:
“He made no real attempt to move away from what was a vile gesture. He is genuinely ashamed of his conduct.
“There are no words I can submit on his behalf that can justify, condone or explain in a meaningful way.
“They are hardened players, but no players should be subject to that.
“There’s no real explanation as to why he made that gesture. He just lost his temper.
“He is not a racist and had never behaved in this way before. He is profoundly sorry to the players on the pitch, to Leeds United and to his own football club.”
According to Beren Cross, Patterson will be sentenced next month.
