According to Journalist Alan Nixon, Ipswich Town has increased their bid for Sammie Szmodics from £6 million to £8.5 million. The Tractor Boys might just be close to a deal as the price tag on the striker’s head is £9 million.
Having almost lost Rowe and Rak-Sakyi, Leeds can cut their losses by getting Sammie on a permanent. Jonathan Rowe is on the wire as he’ll need to wait for a new offer if the Englishman would prefer Elland Road over Orange Vélodrome.
