Leeds United continued their summer rebuild on Friday by confirming the £34m signing of Tarik Muharemovic from Italian club Sassuolo.
The Bosnian centre-back has arrived to fill the void left by Pascal Struijk’s move to Brighton, providing Daniel Farke with an instant replacement in the heart of his defence.
The Whites have also bolstered their frontline by bringing in Harry Wilson on a free transfer, while the search for a creative midfielder remains a priority as Daniel Farke looks to add more invention in the final third.
However, there are growing worries about their goalkeeping department as the club are now desperate to bring in one or even two shot-stoppers.

Karl Darlow’s departure to Manchester United on a free transfer came as a blow for Leeds, who are expecting him to sign a new contract this summer.
Leeds cannot afford to lose Lucas Perri without signing a new goalkeeper, and the club have blocked his transfer for now.
Torino are interested in the Brazilian goalkeeper, who is pushing for the move. However, Leeds are unwilling to sanction a move until a new goalkeeper is signed.
According to Italian outlet Tutto Juve, Serie A giants Juventus are closely monitoring the negotiations for Perri at this stage of the window.
Juventus have a vested interest in their Turin rivals, Torino, succeeding in signing the Leeds goalkeeper this summer.
They believe that if Perri leaves Leeds, Elland Road could become the likely destination for their goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.
Leeds have an interest in the Juventus goalkeeper, and the Serie A giants want to offload the 28-year-old before the end of the transfer window.

Lucas Perri had been widely expected to leave Elland Road this summer, but Darlow’s exit has significantly complicated those plans.
Alex Cairns is not seen as a realistic Premier League option. The veteran goalkeeper is still waiting to make his Leeds debut and is currently regarded as the club’s third-choice keeper.
That leaves Leeds in a difficult position. They are likely to need two new goalkeepers through the door before they can seriously consider letting Perri leave, making his proposed move to Torino far from straightforward.
Unless the Whites can secure two goalkeeping signings before the window shuts, Perri looks set to stay at Elland Road for at least another season.
