Leeds United have gone about their business swiftly when signing new players. But the club has not gotten as many departures.
At the start of the transfer window, reports suggested that some players at the club were available for sale. The main names included Illan Meslier, Max Wober, Darko Gyabi, Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt. It has been over one month into the summer window and the club has seen only one exit.
Wober has joined Werder Bremen on loan with an option to buy. Leeds had to change the details of the transfer to move any potential financial losses of a sale to the 2025/26 accounts.
PSR is something the club are taking very seriously this summer. It is the reason why Leeds have been tough in negotiations over their signings. Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Gabriel Gudmundsson were all signed from top leagues in Europe for a combined £30million fee.

According to Sportsboom, Everton and Burnley have serious interest in signing Jack Harrison. The forward returned from his loan deal at Everton last month after many thought he would join the Toffees on a permanent deal. Harrison had spent the last two seasons on loan with the Premier League club on loan.
Reports suggest that a fee around £10million could be enough for Leeds to part ways with the 28-year old.
Leeds open to sale
Harrison reported to pre-season training this week with a lot of other first team players.
The forward is currently believed to not be in the club’s plans for next season. According to reports, he may be left out of Leeds’ pre season training camp in Germany. Harrison’s omission will allow him to sort out his future ahead of the start of the season.
Everton will be the leading candidate; the club see Harrison as a low cost option that fits the team. David Moyes is open to re-signing the 28-year old this summer.
Club needs another wide player this summer
Leeds United definitely do not need to replace Harrison, but rather, Manor Solomon. The club had a productive winger in the Spurs loanee who contributed 22 goals in the Championship.
Daniel Farke will need that level of attacking threat in the Premier League. Dan James, Wilfried Gnonto and Largie Ramazani will not be enough, at least one more wide player needs to be added in the team. More quality and depth on the flanks help to make Farke’s tactics more effective.
