Leeds United ended the transfer window without signing a striker. It came as a slight disappointment, but the team did an incredible job in recruiting for their needs on deadline day.
The Whites managed to get cover at left back, signing Melvin Bard on loan from OGC Nice.
Leeds also landed a winger after Mykhailo Mudryk chose a move to Spurs. The club were able to sign Jean-Matteo Bohoya from Eintracht Frankfurt.
During the window, the 49ers were able to land key targets; they got James Trafford, Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic among others. The quality in the team has increased overall.
Fans may have their reservations, but the club did a solid job with recruitment.

A striker was needed following Joel Piroe leaving Elland Road. He signed on a season-long loan with West Ham with an obligation to buy, if the Hammers are promoted.
This leaves Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha as the only senior centre forwards.
Piroe has revealed that he had other options, including a move to Ajax, before he eventually joined West Ham. The striker and his camp held talks with Sporting Director Jordi Cruyff, Piroe revealed speaking to FC Afkicken.
“Jordi had already contacted us. Ajax was a serious candidate for me in that regard,” he said (quotes relayed by Ajax Show Time).
“As you also gathered: they were really building a new team. They wanted to sign me as a striker as well. I felt confident.
“On the other hand, I also thought: if you can bring Ajax back to what they were a few years ago, that would be great. That is certainly an ambition.”

Leeds should have brought in a striker
The deadline is over, but not bringing in a centre forward could be a problem going forward.
Beren Cross reported that club sources are content with the business done in the summer window and do not think any position needs immediate reinforcements.
Which means that the club will rely on Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha for a whole season.
They both had injury issues before joining Leeds, but managed to play a lot of minutes last year. Unless Daniel Farke has a plan to rotate the duo and keep them fresh, things could go badly in the middle of the season.
Club attitude amateurish disgusting and unprofessional Piroe should only have been allowed to leave only after signing a replacement. Who plays upfront if one or both strikers get injured or suspended. 49ers had a month or more to sign a striker but didn’t do that even an exchange of large for Burnley s Fleming would have been easy to arrange. What experience have the 49ers transfer staff or were they already out of money
