Updates have come in regarding Leeds’s potential interest in Norwich’s Jonathan Rowe. Talking to GiveMeSport, Fabrizio Romano suggested that The Whites will be quite fast with replacing Crysencio Summerville.
“Yeah, he’s a possibility. It’s true that his name is one of the ones they are consideing internally. At the moment, I’m told that still nothing is close to being done, but it’s a concrete possibility. For sure, they will replace Sumerville.”
“They are assessing all the options, but I think Leeds will be quite fast on this one, also because they made good money with Summerville and also with Archie Gray, so they have some money to invest, and they will surely do that.”
Leeds United are searching the market for a new winger to replace Crysencio Summerville. The Dutchman left for West Ham United in the Premier League with a fee rumored around to be Ā£25 million.
The 22-year-old scored 21 goals and procured 10 assists in 49 appearances for The West Yorkshire outfit last season. Crysencio will be a big shoe to replace for Leeds as they’ll want to do better than last season in order to win direct promotion.
Jonathan Rowe is on their radar and has the potential to be one of the best wingers in the league. The Whites will be starting talks with a Ā£7 million offer which is deemed low by The Canaries.
Wolves’ interest in Jonathan Rowe
Wolverhampton Wanderers were ready to rival Leeds for Rowe’s signature. This roadblock was uncalled for to The Whites as they can’t compete with a Premier League club in the market.
Fortunately, Wolves have dropped interest in the English winger as reported by Talk Sport’s Alex Crook.
āLUFC interest in Jonathan Rowe is real. Understand NCFCĀ are keen to keep him so would take a very decent offer. WolvesĀ not in the running, contrary to reports.ā

The Old Gold dropping their interest in the winger is a golden opportunity for Leeds United. The Whites will be using this to test the waters in the form of an initial offer.
Jonathan’s contract also doesn’t provide any advantage to Norwich City. With only one year left on the contract, they’ll have to cash him out soon enough.
Rowe’s contract runs till 2025 providing little negotiation space for The Canaries. The winger’s salary is said to be around Ā£4.2k per week which can also be used to The Whites’ advantage.
Norwich will have to forcibly sell their winger this summer unless he agrees to extend the contract. Leeds United can also offer a better salary using their summer profits to lure in Jonathan.
