Leeds United have now completed their eighth signing of the summer. Daniel Farke has finally gotten a huge boost in the attack with the latest arrival.
The Whites have agreed a three-year deal with Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The striker completed his medical, and could be fit in time for the Everton game. Daniel Farke mentioned in the press conference on Friday that Leeds could add a few more signings in the coming days:
”There is no doubt we need reinforcements, especially in the offence. Dominic can’t be the only step. We are on a good path, prepared for the first games and I hope when the transfer window is over we have a squad who is capable of fighting for being the first team who breaks this curse because we have one clear target to stay in this league.”
Farke spoke on the fact that Leeds had not replaced Manor Solomon from last season. The Spurs loanee had 10 goals and 12 assists as the team won the Championship.

Since missing out on Igor Paixao, Leeds have been looking for alternatives in wide areas. The club have considered multiple targets, and have recently been linked with AC Milan winger Noah Okafor.
One player they can now rule out is Liverpool’s Ben Doak. As Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Bournemouth have agreed a £25million deal to sign the youngster.
🚨🍒 Ben Doak to Bournemouth, here we go! Deal in place with Liverpool for £25m transfer fee.
Porto are no longer in the mix since Tuesday as they’ve been informed of deal in place with #AFCB.

Doak was on Leeds’ radar, and Liverpool were open to selling. But it looks like the club have failed to capitalize on the opportunity to sign another talented attacker.
What are Leeds’ options now?
Per the press conference, Daniel Farke has revealed that the club are continuing to work on other options so close to the transfer window. One thing that has been confirmed is that Jack Harrison is fully an option this season, after winning the Leeds boss over during pre-season.
Even though the club do not have Manor Solomon, Harrison could do a decent job.
And if the reports are to be believed, AC Milan forward Noah Okafor could be the major target now after Doak sealed a transfer.
once again leeds leave it all too late now picking up scraps a lot of 0-0 this season
As far as I am aware, Leeds never made an offer, as they have other more experienced options in discussion. So how can it be a “huge blow to Leeds”?
Seems Leeds have main targets then nothing – no options, no ambition !!!
